IMV imaging supports Scottish vaulters in bid for European success

As a company with a keen interest in supporting the equine community, BCF were delighted to be 2017 sponsors of the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team (SEVT).

Now as IMV imaging, still with the same values at the core of our business, we have again decided to partner with the Scottish Equestrian Vaulting team (SEVT) as they aim to compete across Europe in 2018.

Equestrian vaulting is a sport requiring great skill as those taking part perform gymnastics on the back of a cantering horse. It is included in the World Equestrian Games and is an accessible sport that is extremely popular in Europe.

The Scottish Equestrian Vaulting Team (SEVT) was established in 1996 to develop a team of vaulters that could compete internationally. It’s aim is to give opportunities to talented vaulters to work together as a squad and to compete abroad. SEVT first competed internationally in 1997 and since then their vaulters have consistently been selected to represent Team GBR at European and World Championships.

2017 was a successful year for the SEVT which saw them attend a total of 5 national and 3 international competitions, travelling across Scotland and further afield to Belgium, France and England.

The team are looking to build on the success of 2017 and IMV imaging are sponsoring them as they aim to compete on the international stage once again.

Clare Henderson of SEVT commented:

“The costs of competing abroad are significant as we need to transport the horse across Europe and these costs are met by the vaulters’ families. The funding provided by IMV imaging will go towards the costs of transporting our horses to attend international competitions and we are extremely grateful that they have continued to provide support this year as we will be attending 3 international competitions (Saumur, France; Pezinok, Slovakia; Rugby, England) and hope to be able to attend the European Championships in Hungary in August.”
